3D printing in rue d'Ulm

 

I have been using HackEns's homemade 3D printer for a while now, and it has proved to be an incredible tool for rapid testing and fabrication of mechanical parts !

Here is a picture of the printer :

Notice the cracks in the glass bed. I dropped vertically one of the metal rods vertically, and the glass pane didn't like it :)

Good thing they are just about 1€ a piece !

 

The top part is entirely homemade, and supports the weight of the ABS spool while keeping it well-placed for feeding the printer
